Burkha Distribution Programme held under Women Empowerment Initiative
The annual Burkha and Clothing Distribution programme was conducted by Ameerunnisa Begum Sahiba’s Endowments as part of its Women Empowerment Programme. Building on the success of previous initiatives, this year’s drive ensured the distribution of high-quality burkhas and abayas to beneficiaries free of cost.
The programme was held on March 1, 2026, at the Endowment premises, where beneficiaries received burkhas and clothing in an orderly and well-coordinated setting. Trustees and volunteers were present to oversee the distribution process and ensure its smooth conduct. The initiative remains a regular part of the Endowments’ activities, focusing on providing essential support through structured and consistent efforts.
Women from different localities attended the programme and received the materials with ease. The initiative aims not only to provide essential clothing but also to promote dignity, modesty, and confidence among women in the community.
