Ameerunnisa Begum Sahiba's Endowments

Ameerunnisa Begum Sahiba’s Endowments, founded in 1812, is one of Chennai’s oldest endowments serving the community for more than 200 years. The Endowment manages two historic masjids at Zambazaar and Peter’s Road (which also houses the largest burial ground in the state), supports Hifz-ul-Qur’an and holistic Islamic education, offers several social upliftment programs, scholarships, organizes medical & health camps and provides essential aid like food, groceries, clothing and affordable rental housing. Guided by its founders’ vision, it continues to uphold dignity and service as its enduring mission.
