How to apply for Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Muslim students residing in Chennai, with priority given to those from Royapettah, Triplicane, Chepauk, Mount Road, Pudupet, and nearby areas within a 5 km radius. Special consideration is given to Hifz students, orphans, children of single parents, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable backgrounds. Scholarship Application is only through the official website.

Step 1: Check Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a Muslim residing in Chennai

  2. The applicant must be a student of
    • Class 11
    • Class 12
    • Undergraduate (UG) Courses
    • Postgraduate (PG) Courses
    • PhD Courses
    • Schools for Physically / Mentally Challenged

  3. Check whether you belong to any of the special categories:
    • Hafiz or doing Hifz now
    • First Graduate in the family (For UG & above)
    • Orphan
    • Children of Single Parents
    • Physically / Mentally Challenged
    • Children whose parents are disabled or suffering from serious medical conditions
    • Children whose parents are Imams / Muazzins / Aalims / Madrasa teachers
    • Children whose parents are social workers

Step 2: Collect Required Documents (ideally less than 1 MB)

  1. Student’s photograph in JPG / PNG format
  2. Student’s Aadhaar Card as PDF
  3. Income Certificate / Payslip / Salary Certificate of Parents as PDF (If no, income upload letter from local masjid)
  4. Previous year / semester marksheets as PDF
  5. Bonafide certificates / Admission letter from the school or college as PDF
  6. Letter from the school / college mentioning the fees details as a PDF
  7. Certificates of any achievements in extra curricular activities as a SINGLE PDF
  8. UG Degree Certificates as PDF (for PG and PhD)
  9. PG Degree Certificates as PDF(for PhD)
  10. First Graduate Certificate (if applicable) 
  11. Letter from masjid / madrasa if you are a hafiz or doing hifz now as PDF
  12. Letter / Certificate for physically / mentally challenged students as PDF
  13. Letter from masjid / madrasa / organization if parents are Imams, Muazzins, Social Workers, etc.
  14. Letter / Doctor’s Certificate if parents are disabled or suffering from serious health issues

Step 3: Fill the Application Form

  1. Fill the application form available in the website.
  2. Carefully fill in the details as it’s a one-time application.
  3. Use a valid and active Email ID as your response copy will be mailed to it.
  4. Multiple / Duplicate applications will be summarily rejected.

Step 4: Submit and Check E-Mail

  1. Review the application and ensure there are no mistakes.
  2. After submitting, you will receive a copy of your response in the email you filled in the form.
  3. No need to resubmit the form if you have received the copy of your response.
  4. If you have a correction or have not received your copy in the email, mail to [email protected]

Step 5: Wait for Results

  1. All applications will be reviewed and verified.
  2. Selected students will be contacted for further verification.
  3. Final list of selected students will be published on the official website.
