FAQs regarding Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Muslim students residing in Chennai, with priority given to those from Royapettah, Triplicane, Chepauk, Mount Road, Pudupet, and nearby areas within a 5 km radius. Special consideration is given to Hifz students, orphans, children of single parents, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable backgrounds. There is absolutely no fees to apply for this scholarship and it is offered free of cost by the Ameerunnisa Begum Sahiba’s Endowments.

Applications must be submitted only through the official form on our website. All details provided must be true and verifiable, and you must upload clear copies of all required documents. False information, multiple entries, or misuse of the form will lead to permanent disqualification. Click here to check the full procedure.

You will need to upload the following documents preferably with file size less than 1 MB:

  • Recent passport-size photo
  • Aadhaar card
  • Income Certificate or Payslip of Parent (If no income, upload letter from local masjid)
  • School/College Bonafide letter along with fees details
  • Marksheets
  • Degree Certificates (for PG/PhD)
  • Certificates of any achievements as a single PDF
  • Any other relevant documents (for special cases like Hifz, disability, first graduate, etc.)

No. Only one submission is allowed per applicant. Duplicate entries will be automatically disqualified. Please ensure you fill the form carefully and completely the first time. If you made a genuine mistake, you can mail to [email protected] before the deadline.

Once submitted, you will receive a copy of your responses by email for your reference. If you haven’t received it please contact us. Our team will review your application. If shortlisted, you will be contacted via email or phone for further steps, which may include a verification or interview. Please do not submit again or follow up unnecessarily—we will reach out only if required.

First, please check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder. If you still don’t see it, it’s possible the email was entered incorrectly or the system faced a delay. In that case, please mail us at [email protected] with your full name and registered mobile number so we can verify and send it to you, manually.

  • Make sure files are in the proper formats (Documents as PDF and JPG/PNG for student photo)
  • Each file should be within the size limit mentioned in the form.
  • Try uploading from a different browser or device if the issue continues.

If you are selected, you will be contacted directly using the details provided in your application. The final list of selected candidates will also be published on our website once the evaluation process is complete.
